Egg Free Healthy Hollandaise

 

You may or not know that I love to cook and experiment with different ingredients. As I work with our Detox, Gut Repair and Fat Loss group many are discovering foods that can create inflammatory responses within the body. To make the transition easier we work on ‘food swapping’.

This is my take on an egg-free Hollandaise style sauce. Although I have served it with eggs today, it is delicious just with vegetables, fish and white meats.

Please give it a go….simply delicious!

 

Egg Free Healthy Hollandaise

Ingredients:

                                                                                

2 cups Cauliflower – steamed until tender
¼ cup Water (or more to get desired consistency)
1-2 tbls fresh squeezed lemon juice (adjust to your taste)
1 tbls Nutritional Yeast flakes
1 tbls grass fed Butter
1 tbls Raw Apple Cider Vinegar
¼ tsp Himalayan Salt
¼ tsp fresh ground Black Pepper
OPTIONAL: ½ clove fresh crushed Garlic (great additional when serving with Salmon)

Method:

  1. Add all ingredients to your blender and blitz for 1-2 minutes until you have a smooth and creamy sauce. Add additional water or lemon juice if desired.

Serve with eggs, vegetables or fish and meats.
