Hi, I’m Helen Betts, Recognised Nutrition & Health Coach, Entrepreneur, Mōdere Social Marketer, wife, and mother of 3 (not always in that order).  I have always taken an interest in cooking/creating new recipes and when my daughters started showing signs of food intolerances and other health issues I started a journey that has led me here –

In order for me to address the health issues my children were facing I started to research.  Not only did I discover just how important nutrition was to health, I have found that our environment and the toxins that we are exposed to in our everyday lives, the state of our mental and spiritual health all come into play in various ways. I came to the conclusion that a holistic approach was needed in order for me and my family to start really living our lives to the fullest.  I am the first to admit that I am a ‘work in progress’.  I believe this will always be the case as we should never stop learning, always be open to new ideas, research or science.  Understanding that each and every person is different and what works well for some may not suit others, and tweaking may be required to find your unique fit.  All of these concepts together created my holistic approach.

My intent with this blog is to share my knowledge and provide support to others as they explore their own journey.  I believe your mind, body, spirit and also the environment in which you live are key to health and happiness.
